Nice entries, guys. It's great to see so many civvies this round, makes for a nice change of pace from all the armed miniatures we usually see :)

I don't use the following statement often, but this really is a tough one.  In the end, I voted for the household staff because I like the pulpy theme better than moderns.  Good work, both of you.

Both are nice entries but unfortunately the group pic on the second entry is a bit out of focus. Fortunately the other pic shows the models in all their glory. I really like the collection of 'bus waiters' though of course the household staff is very characterful as well (I love the little bit of the car showing) 8)

I do need to get better at photography. Had a tough time with the lighting & focus here.  In general the level of painting and mix of styles of all the entries is great.

The real reason you aren't seeing the front end of the car is because the silly thing still isn't finished... months on my painting desk and I still haven't gotten around to finishing the detailing around the windscreen and front end! (well, that and it's part of the set, not part of the team. Photo composition and all that...)

Glad people are liking the household staff! I quite like the guy in the yellow tie with the cellphone in the other entry; he has a shifty look, must be a banker!

I understand regarding your car.  You can't see the top of my wall for the same reason. :)

I like the totally flat finish your figures have.  I usually gloss then flat/dullcote my figures to give more protection but I think that is leaving them with too much shine for these photo's.

Looks great.  What company are those guys waiting for the bus from?

The Reaper paints I do the bulk of my painting with are pretty much dead flat to begin with, then I use two coats of Dullcote over that. Nice and flat, and while it probably doesn't  protect the figures quite as well as a glosscoat, it has the advantage of there not being any shine to get rid of.

Oh, and the wall behind the figures? It's actually a jungle temple platform I made for Lost World games, repurposed for this photo as an estate wall or something.  :)

The civilians are from the Foundry "futuristic" street violence line.  Nice fairly normal figures for modern COC.

I will probably look at skipping the gloss coat until after I take some pictures for the later entries as the Foundry paints I'm using are fairly flat as well. I think I'm getting better at using the camera too so that might help.  :)
