My post apocalyptic and futuristic terrain
« on: March 13, 2011, 02:06:02 PM »
Thought I'd post some of my terrain I've made and have been working on...

This is a contaminated watering hole. I may go back over the toxic ooze with a more fluro colour later.

Very cool!
Are the barrels GW's?
How did you painted the water in the lake?

Good job!

Yes but the leaking one is from a 1/35th scale accessory kit. Water was painted with GW Foundation Mordian Blue and the outer laters of the river were painted that with a mix of white to brighten it slightly to indicate shallow water. I added Games Workshop Water Effects over the top, putting about 5 layers over it, allowing each one to dry overnight before applying the next layer. Simple really.

UPDATE

Some "Moonscape" craters from Games Worskshop with some bits in it. Painted it to simulate hot blasted earth, went over it with gloss to show the hotness of it. Painted in a desert theme to match my soon to be made gaming board.
