Alright, what I meant was out of all the Soviet tanks the early war tanks are the coolest.
I love interwar and early war armoured vehicles no matter nationality ;D

I agree that some of the early stuff is interesting, but mainly due to their weird transition period. I prefer the mid war tanks, when I think of a "tank" I think of a PzIV I would say.

I love to play with crap tanks, its even better when your opponant has crap tanks too! It makes the game far more enjoyable.

That is the reason I jumped on FoW:Blitzkrieg, early war madness  :D

FOW Hellfire and Back is even crazier but such great fun with light armour.

You've made a great job of the T-26s and BT-5s.  Nice crisp highlights.  Well done.

Thanks Guys. I'm looking at fleshing this out now so that I can play any period between 1938 to the end of 1941. With that in mind I've done some tube arty to use instead of the rocket battery for early battles, to keep costs down they will use the trucks and command stands from the rockets.



I've ordered some of the Zvevda early T34's and KV-1's to give me Tanks for later 1941, have those up soon.

Flames of War rules. The list we use as a guide only is the early war soviet PDF from the early war development project section on the FOW website.

We don't mind the rules, but we tend to play with historical forces as opposed to Battlefronts "Historical" lists (for which read "these lists are historically accurate lists, so long as they don't upset the tournament balance or effect sales, in which case we'll change them)  :D

Ah thanks !! I play modified FOW as well real objectives such as take the town, crossroads, hill, that sort of thing as I don't play Tournaments.
