JUST BEAUTIFUL...that's as close to perfection as I could imagine. It's really hard to believe that she is a mere 28mm tall. FANTASTICALLY WELL DONE!

LOL, double shock then! lol

I was tempted by the 54mm version but I think I will leave it as its exactly the same model.

The cloak looks much much better. Now for the praising, she turned out fantastic, the NMM, the gems, the red, the base and especially the skin (btw I really like the cleavage pic), just eye popping good! Also, thanks for the tutorials, I am printing them out now to read.

Keep posting, 'cause you know we can't get enough

Cheers Damien glad you like her, hope my tutorial is of use to you mate.

I will for sure be posting more :P

You can actually see the beginnings of the next project in the back ground of the size comparison picture although you have to have ninja like observational skills to see it :) namely a Miss Isabella (the french femme fatale sans monkey) on and Parisian Street at night, planning massive object source lighting on this project, am really going to push myself to the next level, sadly I found out the deadline for the competition I was going to enter her in with the Twilight Knight is this saturday....no way am I going to get that done I haven't even started sculpting the bloody base, but I want to do it as a display piece for me so I am going to do it anyway.

Miss Isabella (the french femme fatale sans monkey)

That's the Stdio McVey figure, yes? I quite like her but I was never crazy about the monkey- Does it come separately or did you have to do a conversion to remove it?

Your paint work is great.  The gemstones are wonderful.   As is the red armor.

I really like those girls.  The hips and rear are deliciously proportioned with nice round tummies.  I really admired Kingdom Death minis when they came out, but I really despise mini companies that do limited edition stuff.  (it's fine for conventions etc, but when almost all of your store is LTD it gets annoying) I can't have my favorite sculpts from them, so as a result I will never purchase anything from them. Sorry for the rant.
This is my boomstick!

Thanks mate.

It's ok, I have been after the Wet Nurse from them for ages now and I know your pain, I have my email client open 24/7 waiting for the email saying 2nd run is now on for that model.  But they are a small company reckon as they make more and more they will start running models indefinately, they have with a couple as far as I can tell, sure more will follow.  But from my point of view I love the models they are a pleasure to paint so I just try to ensure I catch them on the release day like I did with the preacher pinup and rerun of the white speaker (which have been shipped!!) :D

small negative though........I had prepped Isabella for painting she was on my desk I caught her with my headphone cord knocked her off the desk didn't realise and ran her over with my chair!! So i have had to buy another  :-[

While I don't particularly care for that miniature, you did a beautiful job on it.

How is your next project coming along? All my painting has hit a wall due to end of school papers and getting ready for exams.

well I have been working on a Thunderhawk Gunship in the background.  and if you read about I "ran over" isabella who was next on the menu........but her replacement arrived and she is 687 of 750 so not alot more room left for mistakes :D

Also they have posted my other kingdom death models so expect them soon

AND I have started work on my warhammer monster entry for UKGD this year but I think I might keep that one secret, or maybe not, suppose it all depends if its good enough to win something :)
