What figures would you use for Comancheros?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

I think you could use any types of old west figures. Indians, Mexican, gunfighters etc.

I like Artizans Banditos. They have a rough look to them.

The Scalp Hunters (Mike Owen sculpts) packs from the Foundry Old West range would serve well as Comancheros, as long as they haven't been re-organised out of recognition.

Of course, a good look through the Boot Hill miniatures range may provide you with some very nice characters for your project.

Also by Mike Owen were some very nice "Mexican Irregulars" for the Foundry Camerone stuff, dressed in civilian clothing with carbines etc and wearing sombreros (dismounted only but otherwise would make great Comancheros). Again, not sure if they've been 'rationalised' out or are still there, but worth a look.

I used a mix of Outlaw, Bandidos, Indian and a Deserting French legionary.

He's right you know, the top hat is THE hat of choice for the discerning gentleman. The smoking cap of course comes in close second for relaxing in ones lounge.

Although as this is a Western board, then I will suggest the coonskin cap. :D

Sorry....right back on topic, lovely figures Tsar1701, especially the sombrero wearing chap.   ;D

Dammit, now I am reconsidering my choice of headgear, perhaps the Sombrero trumps the Coonskin cap ::)

Those are nice figures, I can identify all of them but the shotgun wielding Mexican at the end.
