There are a lot of different types of roof even in the same region, so mixing brown-red and grey tiles is rather realistic.

There's no real rules for the windows, just a kinf of artist's view...

Fantastic buildings, very inspiring indeed.
Nothing says 'French' building to me more than having shutters for the windows so I think you need a couple of shutters here and there and a Cinzano sign as well  :lol:

Hi Olivier, Nice work on the buildings :)

I like the town photo of looking down the street with the two different blue background colours picturing a costal township in my view. Really is quite lovely 8)

They are just a printed picture glued on plastic card. It came from an old shop I took with my camera several years ago and that I used for designing shop textures.

I also used it for my paper buildings...
