Round 4 - Savage Girls vs. 18th Century Aristocrats

Hey guys!

Thanks for all the compliments. This match is the tightest we have seen here so far, am I right? It makes my pulse go through the ceiling every time I reload this page, but I fear that if tbroadwater would show bigger pictures of his savage girls, I wouldn't be as half as close. It's nice to see that close matches are really possible (even if I would like to see myself in the lead   ), it makes this competition even more thrilling.

As for the pictures, I follow Mike D. Mc Brice's photo tutorial pretty close and it works out perfectly all the time. You can check it out here:

The Aristocrats are from Wargames Foundry!
They have also a nice duellist and smuggler pack.

Nooooo! Not Foundry!

Pete,

I'm not a huge fan of buying from Foundry either, but I think I had a hand in the genesis of this particular range, so I'm a bit biased on this one...

See the earlier thread here: http://forum.backofbeyond.de/viewtopic.php?t=2169&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

And I do agree - having been hammered by Zoogla's first batch of C18th civilians in round one - the painting is absolutely excellent. Perfect.

But those wild girls though... grrrr  :D

This round really is a squeaker. There were a couple last round, but I don't remember them being as tight as this.

Captain Blood, I had a very nice offer from Grimm to track down specific Foundry packs, so temptation will probably give way and I'll end up buying these as well. They are nifty figures, that's for sure.
