April Release: Fishmen II
« on: April 03, 2011, 11:54:48 PM »
Because there's no such thing as too many Fishmen:

I have a number of alternate angles for these as well, which show off the painting much better - another awesome job by LAF's own einarolafson.  I'll try to post those later on when I get a chance.

Awesome!!! These look fantastic. At the risk of sounding like a 'noob' - who's the sculptor?

Incredible! I really like these much more than the originals. A lot more character and more movement in the poses.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.  Adorable is certainly a word we've never had applied to our miniatures before  8)

Zobo, all our figures to date are sculpted by Kyla Richards (http://www.kylarichards.com/).  Most of her work is in larger-scale sculpture, and we're currently the only company producing her gaming models.

hmm... they are "nice" but personally I think that nice and adorable don't fit into eldritch horror. Fine sculpts but not for me.

I like them. And the paintjob is awesome!
Especially because they look more feral and more fishy than other Deep Ones.
Will there be another Set? Maybe Deep Ones without wearing Clothes?
(The one on the left looks a bit like a roman Senator   ::))

Oh, such wonderful figures, and such excellent painting. 'Just wanna' kiss 'em, but that's because I'm a creep.
Everything is better with lizardmen.
