As much I would hate to admit that Mister Plynkes is right, he is of course, spot on!
When me and my compadre Kalle (he is registered on the forums with that name) discussed the boat, we decided that what we wanted was the Sirius, and that we should ask if this was in any way possible, or rather, we wanted a boat that was sort of a hommage to Sirus. I wanted Mister Houston to have his artistic freedom, and hence I told him about my wishes and that he had free hands to create what he thought would be good. This is the result. With that in mind, its not a copy of the Sirius, but, as stated, a boat very simular to that one.
We are having SLAM! in Stockholm in June, and we will start of rather modestly, this years theme will be pirates (for me and Kalle et al), and we are allready planning for a Grand Slam! next year. The plan is to execute the idea a bit simular but all in all different. There will be a nautical theme, with islands, steamers, habours and the like, with salty seamen and fallen women, all with a Hergéan spirit in mind. More of that later on.
