Rhodesian Light Infantry from Eureka in 28mm
« on: April 08, 2011, 09:13:28 PM »
Does anyone know if Black Hat will have these at Salute? I quite fancy getting some to use as SADF or Selous Scouts.

I ordered some Eureka Miniatures via Fighting 15´s. May be their stand is worth a look?

I think Black Cat and Fighting 15s share a stand at shows.

On Fighting 15s website a lot of thye modern stuff is marked as special order so it may well be that they are only getting them from Eureka to order rather than stocking them (and I don't think they are even on the F15s site yet)

Black Cat or Black Hat? Black Cat in the Hat? I get my Coat D'arms paints from one of them, but buggered if I can remember which it is.

Dammit these mini firms with similar names are just asking for this kind of mix-up. Brigade Games and  Brigade Models indeed. Wargames Factory Foundry. Grrr...

Black Cat Bases are Ben and Jo.
Black Hat Miniatures is Mike Lewis, he owns Coat D'armes paint and is best friends with Iain from Fighting 15s who sells Eureka over here. They share stands at shows.

It's all very simple :)

I thought the Black Cats were Sunderland FC, who coincidentally are another established Premier team who were given a good seeing-to by WBA today  :D

Fighting 15s don't appear to have the Rhodesians on their site even though Eureka are listed and neither Black Cat nor Black Hat appear to do them :?

Shame, as I quite fancy painting a few RLI. That camo is definitely cool!

No, the Black Caps are the New Zealand cricket team.  :)

Whose name derives from the ancient legal practice of the presiding judge placing a black cap upon his head when passing a  sentence  of death on some poor unfortuante. Entirely apposite in the case of New Zealand's cricket team.  :)
