I think they work great.  Very nicely painted, and I wouldn't give the number of tentacles a second thought.

Illithid were always my favorite 'monster' race from D&D.

So much potential there for plot & villainy.

I really can't keep up with all the fantastic work appearing on LAF at the moment.  Not that I'm complaining, mind...  Anyway, consider my brush-envy duly roused!
