To be fair, he was at pains to point out that it was just a nod to the theme, not a serious claim for the points

I think this is the first time for me where a Bugsda entry isn't the automatic winner. They really are both rather good. I need to think about this one some more.

Well, since I didn't have any Africa themed minis I wanted to do something to invoke the theme anyway. Hehe!
Bugsda has some great painted (and thematically relevant!) minis so I don't expect I'll win. I'm happy as long as I put up a decent fight.

I started feeling bored with 15mm, so I decided to go for something smaller.

Mmmm ... tough choice. I like the paintwork on both entries, but Bugsda did work to the theme. Although sneaking in those pyramids was a very good way to link in with the theme
