Took some time out from painting up Darkest Africa figures for some pulp games and Colonial Adventures to get a D&D character painted up (the group made fun of me last time for having the only unpainted figure.)  :D

I converted him from the Dark Sword Miniatures figure found here:

http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/mainwebsite_html/gallery/V_7424_MaleAssassin.htm

So, here I share my 3 hours of effort.

Morgyn the Wraith, a Rogue/Ranger.

That's one cool miniature! Is he 28mm? Looks really big to me.

I think it is closer to 33mm.

For three hours of effort he looks freakn' great. I like the terrain surrounding him as well, give us another pic showing more of the house and flagstones.

I'll dig out another shot with building and cobblestone. I think you'll be a bit disappointed when you see it though. It's just two pieces from my photo set up (the building is a Brigade Games one from their Spanish Colonial set).

Op5, do you have any comparison to otherworld-miniatures? The Minis from Darksword are very nice, but how do they fit to other companies like otherworld

I do not have any Otherworld Miniatures. The only figure I have that others would have a better than average chance of having is a Heresy ghoul.

I can try on Sunday to get a shot of him next to an Otherworld miniature as our DM has plenty of those.

I like the terrain surrounding him as well, give us another pic showing more of the house and flagstones.

Here is the uncropped shot. Like I said, not much to look at.

Would be cool. When it fits I would order some...

OK, it is a little smaller than I thought it would be but still looks really good; it is painted in a very realistic way.

Thanks

Thanks Damien. The building is one of 3-4 that I did at the same time. All of them smaller like this one. But together, they make a nice tiny village.  :)

Here is a test shot showing an Otherworld Hobgoblin next to a Dark Sword Human.

I think they look pretty good together, the thief is a little taller but not by much; I also like his proportions better, he looks more realistic.
