Warploque Halflings
« on: June 24, 2013, 05:50:56 AM »
Well it's been a long time coming but here is my latest batch of 5 cheeky halflings fresh off the painting bench. They were meant as an entry for the LPL but unfortunately my camera was out of operation. Encase you haven't seen these models before and were wondering who made them they are actually scuplted by Warpy from Warploque Miniatures as part of his last kick starter.

I did a really, really rushed job on these with a simple colours scheme with the aim of churning out the unit as quickly as possible as I have far too many unpainted lil halflings staring me in the face with their cheeky fat innocent faces.

I like 'em. Especially the Little dude in the middle who obviously is thinking more in terms of a "battle at the buffet". The colors work great. And I'm really looking forward to seeing that hafling commander on the pony. What a great miniature. A bit like the famous "Napoleon crosses the Alps" painting. Keep them coming!

Nice work. Thye are some quite unusual Halflings, in that they actually look ready to fight (ignoring the guy in the middle).

They are VERY COOL Little Dudes. The wide range of expression & positioning give them an individualistic appearance...a real plus with moi. This will be a fine unit/gang when you've worked your painting magic on them. Enjoy the project!
