I'll second asking: Where did you get those clear bits?

Thanks for sharing such inspirational wolk.

I run a model making workshop at a school of architecture. One of our students laser cut a model of a tower out of 6mm clear acrylic. The best way to describe the look of the thing was "swiss cheese". All thin wisps of acrylic with lots of irregular (but rounded) holes.

I got all of the bits that were the "holes in his swiss cheese". After building all the spires for my scenery I still have at least half the bag left. So I will be thinking of other uses for it when I get the time..

Those sure look like handwavium deposits to me. I think Bucky O'hare and the Space Rangers better secure that moon pronto! :D

(although I'm no planetologist, they could be unobtanium too...)
