Hasslefree's modern/post apoc coppers

I find it hard to justify £4.50 a figure, but when you see them painted up like that it doesn't seem so bad! The Hasslefree range seems to be right up there at the top of the zombie/futuristic tree. I have been thinking about starting up an urban zombie table (which is what recently brought me to LAF) and going with mass plastics like Wargames Factory, but things like this and Commander Vyper's thread make me think twice. It's also nice to see something decidely British for a change. Very nice looking figures; very nice looking paintjob.

It's not too bad if you're looking to put together a small group of survivors. Zombies are another matter though... you need sooooooooooooooo many.

I must get round to painting my little sandford force, even got hold of one of Kev's old figure trader sculpts as one of the Andies.

So what's a good number of figures for an evening's gaming on a 6'x4' table? I had looked at maybe getting some of Copplestone's bikers, some guys in suits, some biohazard guys, some SWAT guys, etc. to get a good mix of figures. I had thought about maybe 10 'survivors', 10 military/police types and 10 biohazard type guys. I've no idea how many zombies might be required, other than 'lots'!

And I'm not sure it's noticeable but the weapons and shield used VGC Electric Blue.

The different materials looked, well, different, but until you mentioned what you used as highlights it wasn't obvious.

That's huge praise, by the way, making different black items look different but naturally and not jarringly so is a very cool trick to have pulled off
