I'm working on a new post apocalyptic project. I intend to use it for roleplaying and wargaming. The setting is fairly hard edge. I may have some zombie like creatures in it and perhaps a few other odd things but I'm not sure yet. At the moment it is human-centric.
I'll be using the Savage Worlds roleplaying game for the RPG sessions. Instead of races I have designed several "Lifestyles" that players can choose from. I've written an article on my blog about them.
http://ironworkersminiatures.blogspot.com/2014/09/wastelanders-field-guide-to-people.html It's several pages of text and images so I would rather not copy it here.
The images are all my photography by the way.
I'm not certain what wargame rules I will be using. I want to keep is skirmish in scale and good vehicle rules are a must.
I haven't done a whole lot of miniature projects for the setting yet but I do have a lot of miniatures that are already appropriate for post apocalyptic gaming. I have started converting some toy cars to wasteland vehicles. I'm still in the process of painting them.
This is a kind of side project for me at the moment but PA games lend themselves to a smaller scale so I hope to be gaming in this setting in a couple weeks at most.
Also I hope to keep most of my stuff for this project in one thread this time unlike what I did with my sci-fi setting. I can't even keep track of all the threads I started for that one.
Everything will be posted in this thread. Miniature and terrain projects. Game reports. Links to articles about the setting.
