There are 2 or 3 more in the "missing in actions series". It's probably over 15 years since I saw them but I seem to recall the first two are relatively good brainless entertainment in the genre. After that it gets a bit tired.

Watched a flick called 'The Initiation of Sarah' on TV the other night.

Not a great movie, but has gaming potential... (two leading sororities at a College somewhere in New England(I think?) are really the front of two compeediing witch cults - one is an evil blood and fire cult, while the other is a not-so-evil wicca-thingy trying to thwart the ambitions of the former...)

Yeah, sure! I bet it was Sorrority Sex Kittens or something like that...  lol

I've just seen 10.000BC (though I'm not sure it qualifies as "inspiring" movie).

10,000 B.C. is one of those films it is only possible to watch while drunk, for fear of smashing the TV in anger otherwise.

I found it works better if you don't look on it as remotely historical, and pretend it is Stargate: The Beginning instead. Seriously, that makes it a much better film.

Man, these are spooky...

Shadow of the Vampire is a film based on that movie.  It's really worth watching.

Oh, yes, I have 'Shadow...' (sadly, only on VHS) - I think I'm going to base a game on that  ;)

So is somebody else we know here, I have seen some of his painted figures already and I am looking forward to seeing photos of the game. ;)

It has been a liitle while since I've used the camera.

My thanks to Hammers for the DVD on the Invasion of Finland in 1944 by Russia. Great movie with excellent AFV action.

Play Dirty has always been a favourite of mine with Michael Caine
Best wishes,
Helen

I would suggest the move - The Assembly.

Finally saw that, because I ordered two and another guy bought the other one.  I give it a 9.9

Play Dirty is indeed one of the grittiest and best war movies ever made.
Years ago I had a VHS version put on on DVD just in case the tape would wear out.

Tali Ihantala is another really good one, but did you know there's an earlier version of it?

Just bought the first series (1 of 3) of Secret Army. Great stuff!

Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

Hi Willie,

I wasn't aware that Tali Ihantala had an earlier version.

Yes I love Play Dirty and of course Michael Caine, my favourite actor. Nigel Greene always pops up in the oldies too!

I just received "Reilly Ace of Spies" the series which was excellent to view and full credits must go to the home office.
