I have a few from Knuckleduster but looking for something different for some new wagons I am making.  Does anyone have any suggestions.

Dixon? They might be too small though...
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

They can't be much smaller than Knuckleduster, which are closer to 25mm than 28mm.  Still, look good on the wagons.  Talking of which, I made up a wagon using a die-cast pencil sharpener.  Very cheap and looks good (well, as good as one of my conversions can ever look).  Will post a photo when I get home at end of the week.

I'm sure I've seen several civilian types in the various Zulu/Boer War/Darkest Africa colonial ranges. Have a look through Redoubt, Empress, Perry, Foundry, Eureka etc websites for possible figures.

The clothes worn by civilians in 19thC Africa were almost identical in style to those in the Old West.

Cheers, I hadn't thought about Darkest Africa ranges. I guess a 28mm Boer trekker would look a lot like a 49er or wagon train settler.  Thanks.

Brian,

Redoubt do some wagon drivers in their ACW range;
http://www.redoubtenterprises.com/shop/?page=shop/browse&category_id=cf151fdb7d80bf836619ec4b1fc87f8a

A quick head swap and you're sorted. They do sets of spare heads, too, with several styles of slouch hat and bareheaded etc.
Having met them at shows, they are nice blokes and may well be willing to sell the drivers only, if you don't need the wagons.

If you haven't seen them, Redoubt's ACW range fits in well with Copplestone, Foundry etc.
