White Knight Dwarves
« on: June 07, 2011, 08:40:14 PM »
My latest mini's finished, bases still to do, available from White Knight
They paint up quickly and easily with little in the way of extra detail that bogs the painting down, these are after all Rank and Filers. I'll be getting a few more units and trying out different schemes.  :)

I only posted these to you on Thursday :o

Nice looking unit and as I read elsewhere - diagonal mounting for ranking up - oh the memories

I think Diagonal works GREAT for these guys....I'm loving seeing everyone's versions of these great figures!

As said elsewhere, great stuff! I agree the diagonal ranking works well for them (and indeed easier to rank them up). 8)

Fantastic job paint job, Paul v2 - and you really show us the quality of the WK-dwarfs. Would have thought you would have needed a bit more contrast, but the colour scheme works quite well.

Diagonal basing works well when done for display and for doing great on pictures as it gives you a bit more space between them. Gaming wise it looks a bit wrong, though. Moving units across the table that are turning their heads in another direction looks ... kind of stupid (IMO) - so guess I'll base mine on round bases to solve that problem ;)
