Maybe because it looks like the picture was taken with a groundlevel shot?

(Though they do have biggish feet of course, in the old marauder style).

Very nice work. I have (or had) a few halflings that would have been looking right in place next to these guys. Cross was the other way around though.

The third one is great, but I also do prefer the second one - and I don't 'think' it's the armour, I 'know'
