My friends ran a War of the Worlds game at the Fall In convention this past weekend (for which I helped make the table).  I took a lot of photos of it.

Did you use the FoW rules for the game? How did it turn out? Iīve been meaning to take up some challenges on my yet to be tested greys, but other projects keep getting in the way...

My friends Shawn and Jimmy ran the Battle of Grovers Mill.  They used basic Flames of War rules and Dan Massey's rules for the aliens.  Shawn played lots of test games with the aliens in the months leading up to the con, so he has a pretty good feel for how they play.  I'll see if I can get him to come on here and talk about it.

Everyone had a good time and they're planning on doing it again for Cold Wars and then also doing a new Alien Invasion table set 15 years later in Vietnam.  They're hooked now.
