The Lost and the Damned
« on: May 31, 2011, 01:45:18 PM »
Two small gangs for "The Lost and the Damned"...

Over the last few weeks I builded two warbands for the glory of the Chaos Gods, as a kind of side-project.
Wanted to do it for ages, because I think its the best book ever printed by GW...
Full of colourfull stories and backgroud.

First my Tzeentch-warband, led by Bjorn the burner (homage to Werner Flamefist), and his retinue of scum...
Still need to add a few members to reach the holy number of Tzeentch.

And master Pestus, the Champion of Nurgle...

Sweet, thanks for posting this. I've been considering breaking out the Slaves to Darkness and rolling up some warbands myself.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

There's something very "old school" and slightly disturbing about these miniatures. You've done a great job!

Agree with Christian... there's something oldschool about it, even if it's mostly newschool plastics. Could be the background, maybe.

How about a rundown of models used and conversions made? Great job!

No matter what it is, I like it!

Are you also going to play the warband system?
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Cool that you see somthing old-school in it... ;)

@rules
I intend to run a little "path to glory" at our club, but wiht very limited homegrown rules.
Mainrules Songs of Blades... so with fixed warbands and a little list from wich to buy things for victorypoints. And when you have 15 VP or so you won. Gaining VP for gaming, winning, killing oposed Champ etc.
I think the whole concept of "path to glory" (getting random reenforcements) would not work in our club, because people wouldn't want to paint new miniatures for it...

NICE MIX of minis! They look GREAT & work WONDERFULLY together. VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Buddha conversion... great idea.  I have been eyeing those off at the bargain store for a while for scenery items!

Super warbands! I always wanted to try those rules but it always seemed like a lot of work to set up the gangs. Love to see pictures of the battles when your done.

Don't need to see this, have a nice selection of RoC figures, (champions, beast men, demons etc..) all tucked away to use 'some day' tm I can't start them now!

I painted a little Khorne-warband for our clubnight at friday.
Its a test to see, if the "Songs of..."-rules can transport the "Lost and the Damned"-feeling... ;)

And after all: an old-school-figure (the Khorne-Champ in skeleton-armour)... :D

And of course more "bad karma", but I had to do the Happy God-conversion... ;D

Besides I painted a few reenforcements for my other bands.

A skeleton, a Slaneesh-Champion and a plagueflagellant (one of the very cool things one could take back in "Lost and the Damned" in your Nurgle army).

DV... :)
