That's a lovely piece of work sir! I had a look at your webpage - and there are more gems there as well.

I'm doing 40mm West myself at the moment - just amassing (and painting) the buildings - Ameritowne, MTH Railking, some scratchbuilt - which we may well release.

I was looking at the Lemax wagons and Stagecoaches and wondering if they would work (with new horses)?

It's unamimous, great job! Who makes 40mm gunfighters, out of curiosity?

Steve, no clue an the Lemax kit, but Sash and Saber do make a 40mm stage complete with passengers.

Thanks, all!   HLBS makes 40mm old west gunfighters, townsfolk, indians  and characters from Spaghetti westerns (these latter are spot on!) The stagecoach from Sash and Saber looks fantastic (and may be my next purchase. Sash and Saber also have indians and U.S. Cavalry.

Thanks. I have all the gunfighters I could possibly need in 28mm, but I feel strangely compelled to seek out some of those HLBS hombres.

Those of you in the US will know Lemax - even if you don't know who they are - you can usually see their stuff in Michael's, Rag Shop, (any craft shop) etc. They make seasonal table decorations - Christmas, Halloween, etc - Figures, Buildings - and of interest to me things like trees, wrought iron fencing and lamp posts that light up. On my visits to the US I have bought quite a few pieces, all suitable for 40mm - and things like this caught my eye last time I was there:

stage coach:

hearse

Their pricing makes them very difficult to resist as well!
