Cool Vampires wanted
« on: June 06, 2011, 09:37:09 PM »
I want to put togeather a gang of cool looking vampires, in the style of Blade/Underworld/Angel.

You know the sort of thing I am after: Leather coats; Goth biker leathers; samuri swords; black sunglasses etc  8)

I am NOT after figures that look specifically like the characters in these films/TV series, but rather minatures that look like the might be from these sort of movies. Similarly, fangs and funny faces are not really what I am after, as these are not always part of that sort of feel that I am after.

Can you recomend any manifactures who might fit the bill?

Here's some pictures to give you an idea of what I am after...

Thanks for your help.

hasslefree's Dionne (b) is definitly one you're looking for.
As is Harby

Then there's Heresy's trench coat gang which I think will be to your liking.

EM4's street bike & rider

to name but a few  :)

Sorry for the double post but the reply thing started acting weird.  Here ars some East Riding Slicks that might work for you.

http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/corporate-wars-55-c.asp

Horrorclix had some figures called Razor Vixens that were kind of Underworld like.  You can usually find them cheap.  I know there is also a company that makes a Not Whistler and Blade, but I forget who it is at the moment.

West Wind has this guy and a whole lot more in the Road Kill Range.

He is not the Blade I was thinking of.

Here are my thoughts on the subject from two years ago:

A review of the Foundry Hitmen I used:

And a picture of said minis, painted as an Underworld vampire gang:

I have had these figures sprayed and waiting for attention for the same purpose for years...

I think that they will make quite cool modern Underworld/Blade type vamps.  Eventually.

Available HERE.

The Slicks are a good possibility.  I've been thinking of using Heresy's trenchcoat gang with heads from Mantic games ghouls and zombies.
All my best ideas are someone elses

The Heresy trenchcoat gang all have little bat symbol necklaces too.  Kind of vampire like.

Blade and Whister figures are available from Musketeer Miniatures here

I have the Blade figure - haven't bothered with Whistler yet, but when they do a Jessica Biel figure :)
