The World's Greatest Detectives (and Friends)
« on: May 22, 2011, 02:09:40 PM »
Now that the long march that is the LPL is finally over, I thought that folks might like to see some individual photos from my round 10 entry, Murder by Death. Even before the bonus rounds were announced, I had been planning on doing an entry that included many of the famous detective figures from various lines, so the movie theme for round 10 was an easy choice for me.

The entry photo:

The Detectives:

Do not be fooled by my cunning use of positioning to disguise the scale disparity between the Reaper Chronoscope not-Charlie Chan figure and the other Artizan and Copplestone figures in the Detectives entry. He towers above the others in a most disconcerting manner...  :o

The Suspects:

It's a bit of a misnomer to label one group Detectives and the other Suspects, as pretty much everyone in the film winds up being accused of murder at some point...

Dick Charleston (Nick Charles):

Dora Charleston (Nora Charles):

Dora (Profile):

Sidney Wang (Charlie Chan):

Sam Diamond (Sam Spade):

Jessica Marbles (Miss Marple):

Milo Perrier (Hercule Poirot)

Marcel (Poirot's Chauffeur):

Marcel (Full Face):

Lionel Twain (Your host for "Dinner and a Murder"):

Jamesir Bensonmum (The blind Butler):

Yetta (The deaf & dumb Kitchen Maid):

Great faces, especially the butler, the chauffeur and Lionel!

Thanks for posting the closeups, nice to see some of the LPL entries in larger-than-contest-rules photos.

I should re-edit some of my LPL photos and post a few closeups of some of my entries, too.

Thanks, Wire'.  ;)

One of my little goals for myself this LPL was to get better at doing black clothing and this entry provided a lot of opportunities.
