Trees are easy to make.

Thanks for posting that. I reckon even I could do that and I even have all the raw materials waiting to be used :D

This project has really slowed down. Back to work after 6 months of unemployment.
The painting of the trees also slowed me up.

All I have managed is to paint the water around the cliff.

The whole purpose of this build is for playing Legends of the high seas. We had our first try at the rules today. Not great photos though but that is deliberate as the figures are not all painted :D

Seems like a fun set of rules. My Royal navy crew got beat up though :'(
Can anybody shed some light on the group idea for the henchmen. We played X marks the spot but after the game it says the henchman group that found the treasure all get experience, only one of the group found the treasure though ???

Work is right pain in the arse when it comes to the hobby, ain't it?  Great, great stuff.  All this piratey goodness is getting me a little flustered and I must resist any sudden impulses to 'dive in' (pun not intended) and buy some salty sea-dogs.

Great progress...... and nothing wrong with using part-painted figures for rules testing  ;) :D

Well I have managed to finish this piece enough for gaming. May go back at a later date to add some small details.

The rocks especially look fantastic. Very life-like.

See you say this is a "pirate headline", but we all know it's a zeppelin docking station.  ;D

The palm trees look good but very time consuming to do... going to do a step-by step on one maybe. perhaps, please?

The trees don't take that long. The painting takes a bit of time though. If you look on page one of the thread there is already a step by step for the palm trees.
