No problem, Dan - how's the new font?

I can't speak for Dan, no matter how I seem to be trying. However, I'm having less trouble; of course, the real test will be back at work, where I've the resolution to gnat's bum equivalent.

Insane.

This is the sort of lunacy I can only applaud. The boiler is bigger than most VSF tanks  :o

It looks like it has come straight out of a model railway set-up. That's a very good thing by the way  ;)

The detail is superb - especially those gauges  :o   8)

..... and the rivet-count is satisfyingly high   lol

Thanks, guys. Glad you like it so far.

As for the engine itself, and particularly the colour-scheme, I was heavily influenced by the River Don Engine at Kelham Island Industrial Museum, Sheffield (where I grew up) and wanted to pay homage to it. It's an amazing machine. When the flywheel gets going, you feel utterly insignificant! 12000 horsepower!

Now working on legs, body, neck and head... Taking bets on the final rivet-count!

Rivet Count So Far: 865.

Stopped having quite so much fun a while ago... sigh.
