Two Dragon Wellesley in India range
« on: June 14, 2011, 11:06:37 AM »
Anyone have a listing or know where these are available from?  :D

Google search throws up leads that end without a result.  :'(

I want the Indians for a later Mutiny game  ;)

I think I recall seeing them at a show last year and at the time saying to myself 'blimey not seen these for a while'

No help to you whatsoever but your conversation did seem a little lonely

Yes, be assured that we're not responding because we don't know, not because we hate you.  :)

Two Dragons is a name I haven't heard in years. I was once a 15mm guy myself you know. I did buy a couple of packs of Indian troops from this range just to see what they were like. If I can ever find the damn things you are more than welcome to have them.

Well, thinking about it, I can only really speak for myself. Everybody else on LAF may have failed to respond because they do hate you.  lol

@Plynkes, let me know if you find them and I'll buy them off you.  I am pestering Trevor to up this range as I think that when Dave's rules appear it is due for resurge of interest.  These will be his best rules yet and the colour piccies are pure eye candy.  One game got me hooked.....  :D

Oh!  :'(

 lol

I think most people are taking a hint from the Stranglers - "Got anything to say? No? Well shut up!"

Something I should probably take more heed of   :(

I seem to remember they were very nice figures "back in the day" and I was very tempted to do what you are doing with them and the Dixons, until I was turned by Napoloeonics.

Hope you find a source!

Well, I know they're 20 years old, but they have clean lines and a charm all of their own.  ;)

I'm still using Connoisseur colonials in 28mm, so age is definitely no barrier  lol

Joroas, if I can find them you can have them for nothing.

It's the finding them part that may prove troublesome.

If you can find them that would be great, the only other source was the USofA and I've bought all of theirs.  ;)

joroas,

If I recall right, go to Dixon's main site, go the menu on the far left and scroll down, way down - I think I saw them there.  Not real sure and will have to check myself.

They were some very, very nice figures, I believe the sculptor was Tim Hallam (?) crisp, clean sculpts full of character - as was the Viking range.

Good luck finding more for your needs.
