Looks good. I'm pretty sure I've read the book, must've been along time ago though.

They filmed bits of it around here. A mate of mine plays a bandsman in one of the scenes.

Well it is based on a children's book, so I wouldn't have expected Come and See:)


There are quite a few horsey types at my work, and they went on and on about this when it became a play, so I think I can expect the same now it's a film. It's odd when instead of their endless discussions about horse boxes and dressage they're going on about the Western Front. It gets very "through the Looking Glass" around here when that happens. That's supposed to be my schtick.  :)

I'd never heard of 'Come and see' before so i looked it up, that seems like a bundle of laughs  :o
