Cool! Dog looks familiar too...

Ha!
So he should.
 :)

He is not technically one of the Dwarven band but will be used universally as a big beastie dawg 'Soldier'
He has just been rebased as a Frostgrave Wardog as I can see them appearing pretty often when playing as they are the cheapest option to fill one of your slots if you are skint.

COOL! There's an old Citadel Wizardly Dwarf walking along pointing & apparently having a directional dispute with his frog familiar who he has in the palm of his hand....I really hope that is the one you have.

I am not sure about the frog, but I do know the old boy has plenty of character.
Time will tell.... :D

I have just dug the old boy out of the pile and that IS the one.
All this time and I had not noticed the frog!
The shame..... ::)

I am sure that I will, mate.
Lets hope I can do him justice, he IS a really nice sculpt.

 lol
Cheeky boy!

I will have you know that I have actually painted more of my own stuff this year than in the last couple.
Missing mojo, the distraction of other things and lack of time prevents me from doing more, but that could change...

BTW: What the Feck is 'the box'...?

And thus technology generously grants us a shiny new superlative. That, sir, is the dog's box.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Round or Square bases?......The ruins of Krappefortt (MORDHEIM) 11/09
« Reply #1496 on: September 11, 2017, 03:06:14 PM »
OK, dragging this up from the depths.....

I can only hopr that some of the pictures are still around for this but I would like to hear any opinions on this idea:

I recently rebased my Mordheim Beastmen for use in OGAM and I really do prefer them on the round bases.
I am serious considering rebasing the whole Mordgeim collection as I think it would look so much better on round (and flatter) bases.
I know that Mordheim is traditionally played with square slotta bases, but is there really any reason that they should stay on square slottas?

Here are a couple of 'Before' pictures....

And below are a few 'After' pictures.

So, what looks best, Before or After?

Any reasons why I shouldn't rebase the rest?

I'm a fan of round for skirmish and square for regiments. But the rise of mdf movement trays ,does somewhat dampen my logic.
