Trent Miniatures General Brune and Napoleon
« on: June 27, 2011, 04:58:40 AM »
Finished a tabletop quality commission a few weeks ago for a couple of personality figures from Trent's French Revolutionary Wars line. We're using the results for the example pics in our webstore, let us know what you think.

One of him.

And two of him.

I based the colors on the ones used by Trent's display painter, address uniform color faults to them. :)

Jibbery style oinkery which don't make no damn sense.

Splendid work.
I quite like the Trent mounted generals, very chunky and just that bit different to other manufacturers in style.
Don't suppose you've done Stapleton Cotton yet?
He looks quite dapper.

Not yet, I need to work on some display models for shows though. Will post him here when I get around to him.

Excellent painting :-*

What colours did you use for Brune's jacket?

Thanks, I started with GW's Necron Abyss Foundation, thought it was too blue and glossy, so I painted a highlight of Delta Ceramcoat's Midnight Blue. It's a somewhat desaturated blue and charcoal grey kinda color.
