Wonderful details. How are you going to paint the roof: tiles? slate? shakes?

slate, same as the others I suspect - a dark sea blue, looks a bit slatey to me.

Adding here as it’s all Market Hall adjacent - market stalls (https://anevilgiraffe.blogspot.com/2025/04/market-stalls.html) and other bits (https://anevilgiraffe.blogspot.com/2025/04/various-bits-of-scatter.html) a mix of scratch, plastic, resin and 3D bits, details on the blog posts.

Brilliant.

The pamphlet seller is my favourite. Very evocative of the period  8)

Cheese and veg - a bit less era-specific ;)

Cheese and veg - a bit less era-specific ;)

that is Chesire cheese, which t'internet advises was the most common cheese in the 17thC.

At least I didn't do pumpkins... so many pumpkins available...

EDIT: wait a minute… apples, parsnips, red onions and fennel were introduced by the Romans and carrots were Elizabethan, so I’m good.

That finished up very, very nicely!

One of these years I'll get back to my alt 17th C/folk horror project...
