Crooked Dice: Failed Experiments - NOW IN STORE
« on: July 04, 2011, 11:14:59 AM »
After a bit of a dry spell, we've got a few new images of up-and-coming Crooked releases.

Here are the first painted pictures of our next release - the Failed Experiment - sculpted by Mark Evans and painted by Mark Dixon.

These shows the 3 lower arm options, the Scientist and Minion bodies and the 3 heads. In this release are:

• Scientist and Minion bodies – both with suitably mutated bits and ragged clothes
• 1 sprue of 3 heads – insectoid, mutated human and ape-man
• 1 sprue of 3 lower arm options – tentacle, giant pincer and robot claw

Both bodies also come with a more human lower arm in case you don't want the big mutated arms:

The bodies are also intentionally a little bulkier (with more mutated bits) than their standard versions. We hope to get these in the store in the next couple of weeks.

Pricing for individual models, parts and deals to follow.

Look forward to the head pack, lots of good conversion fodder!
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Great figs and paint jobs... bubbly faced guy vaguely reminds me of a baker era cyberman story on a space station... dragging that up through the mists of time though.. ahh those were the days.  Repositioned head looks better btw.

I suspect that you're conflating "Revenge of the Cybermen" with "the Ark in Space" earlier that same series: they were both set on the same space station, but "The Ark in Space" was the one with someone mutating into a giant insect like that.
Back from the dead, almost.
