Birds

I was thinking of adding a falcon or other medium-sized bird of prey to a figure for a conversion.

Can anyone suggest any sculpting tips for making one (I'm a terrible sculptor, but I suppose I can handle a bird with the wings folded if there's some decent instructions somewhere), or failing that, any sources for the same sort of thing ready-made?

I think there is a hunting falcon with a cap on the Warhammer plastic Bretonnian Knight sprue ...

There was indeed a small hunting falcon.  I think it was with the archers.  Either them or the Men-at-Arms.  Confrontation had some falconers that had loose falcons.  Might be hard to find those now though.

Sorry that I did not see this earlier.  This one is from Andy Slater over at Terragenesis.  It is not on his site anymore, but I saved a copy.

Simple but effective toot.  Just change the beak to make a falcon.

What a fiendishly simple idea!
II love it! :-*
I have rats and bats already to paint up, but now you have posted this, I simply must have a couple of birds added to my ruined town.

Thanks for the link, Snitchy!
