Colonial Marines. More figures, all new pics!
« on: July 12, 2011, 09:25:03 PM »
A little side project because I've always wanted to paint some Scotia Grendel Nexus Marines. These will, of course, fight my Xenomorphs. I have a scenario worked out that I plan to put on at my school club for the end of term so there'll be a report on that soon.

There are rules for using them in Crossfire here:

Along with more photos of course.

Let's rock!

Very cool. Every time you post, I'm curious about Crossfire. There a new or current edition available/coming? For Near Future/Sci Fi?

Not as such but someone not a hundred miles from here might be writing some modern/near future/sci fi rules based on the same principles.

28mm figures.
No close ups, they're just wargaming figures :)

That chap on the right-hand side looks like he has just been grabbed by a cloaked predator....

Yes, I was airbrushing out my desk and had the settings wrong. Oh well, plenty of other pics of him to be going on with and when the next lot are done everything will be re-photographed anyway :)

Any casualties? Some I have, somewhere, look, rather than hit with 'spray', got the acid firehose treatment.  lol

Scenario and game report:

I ran this as an end of term thing for my school club. Two games, honours even at the end.
