hubbabubba, you are my newest favorite!

Everything you do is awesome.

You have absolutely mastered the 'realism' that makes scale models so amazing.

Fabulous! I love the container stacker and the little tracked vehicles. I saw a container stacker at a local model shop and it was a bit too expensive for me, but on your table it's perfect! I also love the little square buildings, what did you make these from?

Words fail, I stand in awe. This is a seriously cracking layout for any modern to sci-fi game. Well done! :-*

Spectacular  :-*

What technique did you use to get the paint to adhere to the silos/cd stack boxes?  They look brilliant and I would love to rip off the idea.

In my experience the plastic on those is too flexible and waxy to be painted with any degree of permanency.

+1 on this though thinking you keyed the plastic with a plastic-etch primer?

Really inspiring work.  :o
I'll be satisfied if I can do my vehicles half as good as you did yours.

Thanks for all that positive feedback folks :D

They're made out of the little presentation boxes watches come in. Nice sturdy little things

Hoob ????
Edit: Ah, hoob, Huge Noob; camelia
Any action exhibited by said individual over any course of given time is an example of 'hoobness'  ::)
The crawlers and the stacker both came from here:
http://www.modelmotor.es/
They're manufactured by Joel, here in Spain. I wouldn't wanna have them shipped anywhere though, the stacker must weigh a couple of kilos. I reckon they must have a distribuiter in the UK, give them a ring:
http://www.joal.es/esp/nov.php?idnovedad=11.
I wanted to get a couple of these things, but it went beyond my budget.

and this one I love but it's way too pricey:

And then you could always add a wind turbine in 1:50, that might be one for Akky to consider.

To be honest, I did absolutely nothing to them, I just undercoated with gesso :D
