Thanks again!

Most of the models are foundry. From their pirate range.

Myself and Gamer Mac bought a bundle a while ago and split them 50/50.

Great stuff. Nice background fluff too.
Love the idea of 'mother' as the quartermaster.
Its one of the things I love about LotHS, it gives a nice narrative type campaign, which you can make as much fun as you wish.

We played our third campaign game last night and I narrowly failed to Sneak out the Port... dropping to 50% within 6" of board edge. Still I did managed to kill my opponents newly purchased cook, but lost a cut-throat with musket... Plus we had fun with the 'sentry' rules, I had one of my opponents heroes become a 'sheep worrier' in the furthest paddocks from the action, BAAAAAA ! ;-)

Even when you lose a game, its still great fun, and you can recover with the next game for the campaign.

I've just ordered a bunch of figures from brigade games including natives from their caribbean range for my jungle isle, spanish captain, and royal navy officers and boarding party.

Please keep us updated with more :-)

PS gotta love those Foundry figures too, we used them for our pirate crews too.

regards
Scott

The adventures of Jack Rose,Captain, continue.

Parham town. Quiet, peaceful, Spanish fishing town. Three crews are about to decent upon it! Two pirate crews , in it for the money, and the Royal Navy, there in the name of the King!

The mission was called 'Sack the town'. It's meant for two players, but my brothers wee boy wanted to play as well, so he took a pirate crew. The idea is that there's booty in the town and all the crews need to get it and get back to their ships.

Parham town

'Red's crew started from the harbour.

The Navy crew rowed their boat to the cliffs, under the disused fort....

....and the other pirate crew started the other side of the headland.

'Red's cutthroat, Omar, headed for the booty in the Blacksmiths shop and soon caught sight of the other pirate crew coming from the beach.

Grabbing some booty and running back to the ship, the other pirate crew soon caught him up, beat up him and the rogue helping him and stole the treasure!!

Elsewhere on the table the Navy had set up in the fort and were firing on 'Red's crew, causing two attempts at grabbing booty from the ship tied up in port, to fail. Meanwhile 'red' and his Mum met the Navy Captain and his Sergeant face to face and cut them down like the dogs they are!! The other pirate Captain also tried to take on Jack shortly after, but Jacks superior sword skills won the day and cut the Captains throat ear to ear!!

Taking heavy loses due to the Navy muskets in the fort, Jack decided to call it a day and started to fall back to the launch, on the way trying to recover the booty lost by Omar, but the loses were too great and jacks crew started to rout, leaving Jacks Mum and a rogue to haul back the booty from docked ship, while under heavy fire!!

With three bits of booty compared to the Navys and Jacks two, the other pirate crew won!! (we won't be inviting Gamer Macs son to play again!!! ;) ;))

Two more of Jacks crew painted.
