Mongrel Miniatures British
« on: July 21, 2011, 09:26:13 PM »
Could you use these for Indian troops?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

You could but they wouldn't look like Indian troops.

I'm not familiar with the Indian army's uniform or equipment, but Mongrel Miniatures' Syrian range might be another option.

I suppose it depends how much of a button counter you are. Different headwear, equipment, small arms. For me too much difference, in this scale at least. Your mileage may vary. As a proportion of the Indian Army seem to be armed with AK-47s as opposed to the standard INSAS rifle, you might be better off converting the Mongrel Pakistanis with AK.

I would look at the old Devil Dog/Dogs of war Israeli or Iraqi figures...
As they would have the correct weapons and kit.

try Callverbooks here i n the UK as they do have a few left....
