Slightly later than planned, but a bit more work has been done, most of it has been trying to sculpt some crew. How the professionals manage I dunno.

The boat is looking real nice.   :-*

Bit of a pain though to have to sculpt your own figures...  o_o

But nicely done.

That’s quite an impressive ship already… looking forward the finished product ;)

A bit but that's the price of wanting figures that are unpopular  :) if nothing else it gives me some practice sculpting  ;D

Unfourtunatly my focus is slipping as I was working out dimensions for a landing craft last night  o_o must finish this first, must finish this first

Damned fine work on both the boat and crew. You would do well to get the crew cast up. Just by the by, do boarding parties/ landing parties wear anti-flash hoods?

These ones won't get cast, too many flaws for my liking but if I get better, who knows, it'd probably be easier to commision a professional for a commercial ish release.

Shouldn't think so, they have marines for those jobs, but I'm applying the rule of cool in this instance  :D

Cast them and sell them - I think I've just located my mid-budget "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" evil minions. (For those late 1940s-early 50s serials, after cultists and Ratzis, but before the SMERSH and Hydra troopers in Eurostyle tunics and berets. And the flash masks allow me to film the whole production using the same 4 stuntmen for all the minions!) :D

Nice sculpting  :).

Is the L85A2 the crewmans holding the one you can get from Hasslefree, or did you sculpt it?

I've been thinking of getting some and was wondering about the quality painted (yours look great)

First safety is important,

More Threadomancy.

Would love to see any additional progress on this Patrol Boat.

It's what inspired me to try my hand at building a ship for my ATZ games, though mine is more of a fishing trawler or a small cargo ship, and its currently in the mock up phase and build out of plain cardstock while I try and correct some of the dimensions that are off. I am thinking of when I actually build it widening and lengthening it some more so I can fit a small crane and maybe a couple small vehicles like 4 wheel ATVs and motorcycles on the deck for the salvage teams who are disembarking looking for supplies. I might also have a small platform on the rear of the ship housing a Jet Ski (or two if I can find a scale replica of one) or a zodiac style raft.
