Pirates for September - 1st game for the crew last night

Don't forget that 19 Sept is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. 

 ... That's why our club declared September to be Pirate month... Argghhh!

Well, my crew had their first game last night using the Legends of the High Seas rules. We played a simple encounter just to get our heads around the rule system but they won the day in the end.
I don't know how these rule compare to other rule sets but they seemed okay. There was a fair bit of jumping around the book to find rules and some of it wasn't very clear. "High Seas" looks to be one of those systems that is a bit fiddley to start with but easy to remember once you have the hang of it.
