My Latest Work in progress.

The Old man of Innsmouth

I was going to try and do quite a few Innsmouth type citizens  :?

What you think?

Cheers

I like this a lot.  Great idea.  More would be welcome.

I have a couple suggestions.  I initially mistook his hat for a fez, due to the shape.  On reflection, however, I think it's supposed to be more of a brimmed hat.  A little more brim would help.  I also think more tentacles in the mouth area would suggest greater age, by producing the appearance of something like a wriggling beard.

That looks damn good to me. Keep the hat as it is, there is one type of hats (for some reason often worn by complete bums) that look exactly like that. Kind of tall and small sloping brim to the front and raised to the back.

I like it as it is but if you want to modify things on the miniature I would work on cast masters or dolls. Now a question I have to ask: How big is it?

Great work!!

Regards.

I'm okay with the hat. I've seen fisherman's hats that look like that: kinda like a taller, smaller brimmed boonie hat, which only adds to the whole dockside flavor of the piece.
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

Hi,

Thanks for all the positive feedback on this piece  :),

If Anyone is interested in this sculpt for production?  Just let me know through a PM  :)

Its about 33mm, made of Uno Polymer clay and the hand is removable for casting.

Thanks
