Now that I have aquired all the cavemen I need, I have taken some photos to document my progress.

They are all in different states of WIP, some only needs the bases done, others need almost everything done.

Now I only need to recieve the last 4 mammoths and 4 dogs before I have all the models I need.

I hoped I would have the Primaeval design mammoths by now too, but even though I ordered almost two months ago from Magister Militum, I still have not recieved anything and very poor communication through email.

Hopefully the last four mammoths will arrive in time or else I am screwed.

We are having a playtest this saturday, so hopefully I have them painted by then.

  Somehow I missed this thread before...what a cool idea...as an archaeologist I have spent way too much time thinking about what its must have been like to hunt these animals...I'm very interested to here how the game goes.

Your sticks are waaaaay too well cut.  Branches rough cut to length would fit in with this project.  tool marks on the wood would make them ping.  Beautiful build and I cannot wait to see the Mammoths.

Yes, you are right about the sticks, but I bought these with the idea that I had something to write on them, but as it turned out, that will not be needed.

I have painted them now though, with the lenghts of 2" and 5".

Maybe I will make some new at some point, but right now for playtesting these will do

Mammoths might get peint today, the first 5 are assembled, greenstuffed and basecoated last night.

I wanted to base them before painting, but since I have not recieved the Primaeval mammoths from Magister Militum, I can't base them yet, I want to be sure I can base them the same way all of them.
