Hello everybody,
yesterday we had a TSATF game featuring British, Egyptian and rebellious fellahin fighting on the Mediterranean coast.

Stupenda! Bravo. Lovely pictures, though so many of them and taking so long to load I did not wait for all of them but still well worth a look.

How many people's toys to put the game on? Or all one person's?!

Dear fellow gamer,
yes the photos are a bit too many, thank you for your patience for having a look and sorry!
It is my first posting, I have to learn.
I am now writing comments to the photos, so you might be able to follow the story..
Scenery is from our local club inventory and two members, while figures are from
a good friend and myself.

Sitting at a University's NOC, I'd usually agree, but they are taking a LONG time to load. Perhaps small pipe at other end?

Perhaps as a link off the battle page? I'll admit, most can be sorted out, but I can point out voluminous posts of me admitting laziness.

right!
Output pipe is smallish, an old mac mini sitting on a shelf at home... ships are indeed PMC.
Buildings are from various makers, I will sort out with my club mates and write a post.
For you lazy friends, translation is coming!!
The Fuzzy himself was a disguised italian photographer, about my age..

Tis a good thing I left the browser tab with your blog up; hate to think I distressed a worthy old Mac by repeated view/downloads.

And it would have been 'distressing'. All work day, I've been coming back to look at more amphibious goodness!

Truth be told, I've a few of the PMC craft, but they wait me deciding how I'm going to assemble with rare earth magnets. They are really lovely, but I don't think bear TOO close examination for logical placement of doors/stacks/gratings/etc. ;->=

Agreed. I have 3 of them now and I think they need some modification to be gamable pieces.

I am happy that we still share common interest. We had wonderful Colonial games long ago.
I remember the Paddy Griffith rules that were so enjoyable.

Anybody in the forum has ever played them?

I mostly play VSF, and so have a heavy 'suspension of disbelief' AND of reality checks. ;->=

Still, need the occasional breath of you realists lest I fall into the full-blown heresy of 'steampunk'.

However, even the wackiest will pause given the choice of a smokestack plunging a roof directly inside a door or the open bridge...

Have only seen them referenced to, but they are quite obviously well-loved and remembered by some.
