There's an artist who started the whole Star Wars Steampunk thing a while back with some really far out concept art. He had Chewie as a dog-man in a bowler and a made a walker that was a zeppelin with tentacle legs.

I'll see if I can't find it.

EDIT: Ah, it was Eric Poulton.





Turns out the walker wasn't him though. I was able to find it, but am unsure of the origin since the link to the source is dead.

Honestly, has anyone looked at HMSW Gargantua, and not thought, AT-AT?

Not saying it was inspired by, just that I know I can't NOT make the connection.
