I was miffed by the time lost in spring's silliness so I decided to take some back. (The demo game deadline also helped.) Roughly in order of finishing:

Fenris mythos gravestones

Cops and gangsters (Grenadier, I think, with one Citadel GH mixed in)

Pigs (Gripping Beast)

Dogs (also GB)

I have a strange habit of testing too many animal colour schemes at once. However, it's fun, and possibly disguises the fact that there are only two or three poses per beast here.

Woodland Scenics stumps

Maelstrom forgot to include the other bag in my order and didn't answer my e-mail. I didn't bother going any further. These had some nice growth rings, but also mould lines twice larger so most of the texture was eventually filed off. Barely worth the money.

Big rocks

Real rocks repainted. Material chosen to flatten any folds in the gaming mat and to hold it tightly in place. These bases are fairly big, maybe 4" across each.

About 26 large trees and 20 bushes

Good counters may notice that not all are shown. Check the game pics for the rest...

Garden patches

1918 Crossley (Matchbox repaint)

Assorted produce and a few road signs

Strangely enough, one sign has been taken down.

Village people

The witch is not necessarily related, but was painted in the same batch. These were the final night's rush job so a limited palette of greys and browns prevails.

Not shown: The gaming mat, some re-weathered junk piles, a checkered doormat I chopped for fields, possibly some forgotten bits.

May I say "phew" now?  ;)

Didn't paint much as I am struggling to build up the motivation these days and have no games or ideas for games to spark my enthusiasm.  :?

Anyway my meagre offerings

G2, that's some impressive brushwork, love that Chairman Mao banner!  :-*

These weren't all done this month, but the project was finished so I guess that counts.

Just to clarify any confusion, the Mao banner is computer generated, not hand painted. But I will take the "impressive brushwork" comment as a compliment to my minis. :)

Here are some close-ups of the Black Orcs.

I actually painted something.  These were supposed to be finished for something like Week 5 of the Lead Painters League.  My life isn't the best right now, but I finished 5 OOP Bezerkers.

I actually did some more work after the varnishing stage, fresh glossy blood mainly. Haven't had a chance to use them.  Will try to finish off some terrain prior to packing away my hobby stuff.

Mage Knight (and other prepainted games) favours the lazy in that you never have "primer marines" syndrome, but a few of the figures are genuinely atrocious.

My long-term goal is to repaint or convert some of the worst offenders, or mediocre figures that I like to use. Of course, it would be nice to repaint everything, but I don't have seven lifetimes).

Enough talk though. Last month, a unit of archers (four generics and two unique commanders) was replaced. This atrocity (who, in addition to other crimes is over 40mm in a 30mm game):

Was substituted with some old GW Shadow Warriors:

Plus one cleric, a Red Box figure:

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.
