It was a great day, much fun and some lovely cake! Good to meet old friends and new and indulge in some gaming in the process. Thanks to Paul and his wife for looking after us. Looking forward to next year  ;).

CROM looks like great fun, I looked in on a game towards the end in time to see Conan on fire and back in prison!

Gosh, when I was 50 we didn't even have games..............

Glad you had a good day, Young 'Un.

Well that was a jolly tea party  :)

Thanks Paul. And good to meet Sterling Moose in the flesh at last - he finally made it through the ash cloud!  ;)

Here's a shot of the birthday boy himself with cake (and very nice it was too  :P)

And my classic shot of the day - a lovely medieval / VSF fusion, as my medieval soldiers scamper across the woodland, with Thundercheeks' Victorian suburbs rising in the misty background behind the waving C15th banners (it was on a different table of course, but just happens to have provided a perfect backdrop!)

Really, really glad it went well Paul, so sorry not to be able to be there, trust me to be on crutches at the worst possible time! We are really pleased you enjoyed your day, hope to see you soon!

Thank you all for you good wishes :)
It was a great day all round. A particular thanks to everyone who attended it was their contributions that made it a success be it running games or just playing them. It was a pity that some people couldn't make it, Jo and Ben were missed especially, I think you'd both have enjoyed it but, alas, broken bones are no respecters of social calendars :(

Anyhow, I've posted pics; most are mine some are from other people and I'm expecting more soon. I've added some words about my game and already pestered the other good people for some thoughts on theirs so, again, I'm hoping for more written content later on.

What's available so far can be seen here:

And here are some teaser pics for my good forum buddies :)

It looks like you managed to gather some of the worst condottieri of the wargaming world, Paul. I so very much wish I could have chucked the wife and the Katzenhammers and just been there... Happy 50th!
