I've got plenty of plastic 1/72 soldiers (germans and english in short pants), I never thought I could use them for that kind of games...

I believe you used some plastic kits (heller, airfix, etc...) for your troups, but what did you used for your "main characters" ?

thanks et congrats for your gaming table, everything is really well made. The figures are especially well painted (difficult to guess the scale of them!)

Hi Sunday Hero
The vast majority of the figures are by B&B miniatures in their 'March or Die' range.
They do Indy/Sala/Dr Jones Snr/Gestapo & lots of arabs. Not sure who has the moulds for them now though.
The arab workers are made by Irregular & most of the Germans come from Raventhorpe. The odd 'true scale' fantasy figures can be found in the collection.
I will break this down more if require anymore info
Regards
Shaun

Thank you for the answer. I think I'll start converting some plastic figs for my own pulp action...I've got hundreds of them. Those englishmen in short pants will be perfect for jungle, desert, etc...

I also have plenty of german, in leather jackets, cars and stuff. I should be able to find 2 or 3 tanks and planes also, I believe.  ;)

And if I like it, I'll invest in metal figures on that scale.

Great looking game, scenery and minis!  :o  :-*

Can I ask you the rules you're using for your Indiana Jones game?

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Very nice indeed!
Using 1/72 gives you some great options for vehicles/aircraft: will we see a German flying wing?

Maybe this fake "Premake" of a trailer for a fictional 1951 version of Raiders of the Lost Ark on You Tube will provide more inspiration. This was put together from bits and pieces of other movies, including Charleton Heston in Secret of the Incas:

The game is a combination of the 1st & 3rd movies with 'period' stuff thrown in (Ali Barber & his d4 thieves etc). We entitled the game 'Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Ramamadingdong'!
The board is 6x12 and feature a town, German camp with airstrip (including the flying wing) & 3 tombswith digs.
The rules are in house - simple WW2 combat with a card system added. A great deal of role play is needed alongside clever umpiring.
The Bunker stalwarts took the game arond the UK game circuit in the late 90's & I brought it to Historican 1999-using base boards fom Duke Siegfried. Now the game remains a favourite with people who visit The Bunker

Hope this answers a few points
