This reminds me - slightly - of the manga Delicious in Dungeon, which is about a party of adventurers who, after repeatedly dying - in RPG terms - due to hunger, start to hunt monsters in order to eat them, aided by a dwarven gourmand, thus surviving longer....to hunt more and bigger monsters. Lots of repulsive recipes.

So you can date your cat, who is also a set of magical brass knuckles and who likes boxes.  Also pretty sure the scythe-guy is a reference to that bizarre Hatoful Boyfriend pigeon-dating game that the youtubers were going nuts for a few years back.  And the K-Pop Star who turns into a "laser-saber" (don't fancy facing off with Lucas Disney's lawyers, folks?) kid dislikes Shallowness.
