Wait a minute ... does he have his (big) left hand fiddling with his wotsits? Eeeuuuuuww.

The extra tones you have added to the skin are superb. It's too easy to just do it all one shade, but the blue veins, the pink wrinkly knees, the raw look to the creases around the face ... they add so many dimensions and lift it to a whole other level.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Belter. The cursed ettin is one of the best things to come out of FW and you've done it justice and then some.

I think that's his left thigh. Which isn't much less disturbing.

Thank you so much. This model was really was all about trying to emulate various skin colours and tones. I used a lot of medium to make various colour glazes, which for a model this size worked better than I'd hoped.

No kidding. As soon as it was released I knew I'd have to get it one day.

It's been a long time, but the Fir Domhan return!

This handsome fellow is a Myeri Tiarna by Geoff Sims, from the forthcoming Myeri Clan box for The Woods: Legends of Shandisholm (due out August, it looks like it's going to be a beautiful book). He's armed with a Snaghyrn and based on Alan Lee's Fomorian painting. Anyone who has any interest in the Fimir or Celtic fantasy should really check it out. The background of the Myeri is fascintating, and anyone who loves the fimir will love this as dearly. In my own clan this fellow will be Murdach, a noble of the Fir Domhan.

There's a blast from the past! Good to see you're still adding to it. :) That Tiarna looks proper.

Thanks folks. I've adjusted my fimir skin recipe a bit, and I like the new results. He still sits in fine with the existing army, but he suits my current style and techniques better.
